The Love Legacy – Chapter 4

Welcome to chapter 4 🙂

As the twins grew life became hectic in the Love family, but no matter what the days threw at her, Poppy adored her little girls.

And they adored each other.

Poppy spent her days trying to set Annie and Lilah on the right path to ensure a successful future.

Though at times she felt like she was fighting a losing battle. The twins were strong willed and they tested her on a daily basis.

She couldn’t wait for Victor to return home from work so she could get a break and get some food, as often she would go hours without eating anything.

She was so grateful for all the help Victor gave her.

And although at times it felt like everything was chaotic and they would never get on top of things.

They still loved their little family.

It was rare for Poppy and Victor to get any time to themselves.

So when they did, they made sure that they made the most of it.

To her horror, Poppy discovered she was pregnant again.

She worried night and day about how she was going to cope with a baby on top of two tearaway toddlers and what if she had twins again?! She felt sick.

She found it hard juggling pregnancy with raising twins, but she did her best.

She found that her energy levels were much lower this time around and she needed to take naps during the day.

This meant that Victor had to pick up the slack. (This picture is a good representation of the stress of the household during this period. Filth everywhere).

Much too soon Poppy felt her waters break.

Understandably Victor went into a pre-paternal panic.

Poppy rushed to the cradle.

And gave birth to a third baby girl, Rose Love.

Poppy did her best to juggle her twins needs with the needs of baby Rose.

And overall she thought she did pretty well. (If we all ignore the horror mess beside her!)

Very soon Rose became a toddler as well.

She looks very like Annie and Lilah, but with her dads hair.

The Love Legacy – Chapter 3

Hello 🙂 Welcome back to the Love Legacy.

Poppy was growing bigger by the day and it made working more and more difficult. She couldn’t wait until her third trimester when she could take some family leave.

She tried her best to put on a happy face for her patients.

But on more than one occasion she had to make a mad dash to the bathroom to throw up.

Despite her discomfort, she still managed to secure herself a promotion to Medical Assistant. Victor could not be prouder of his beautiful fiance.

As he watched her get closer to her due date, Victor thought they should tie the knot before the baby arrived.

So in a private ceremony in their living room, Victor and Poppy became husband and wife.

They could not have been more blissful.

One afternoon while Poppy was in the garden she felt a sharp pain shoot through her stomach.

The baby was coming!!

She gave birth to not one but two beautiful little girls, Lilah and Annie Love.

They couldn’t believe it!

Both parents quickly got stuck into their new duties.

But were happy when they could finally get to bed.

Much too soon Victor had to return to work, leaving Poppy alone with the twins. She was slightly worried about how she would cope.

But all she could do was get stuck in as best as she could.

And before she knew it, it was time for the twins to grow up.

Meet Lilah Love, a pretty little girl with the trait Angelic.

And her identical sister, Annie Love, who had the trait Wild.

The Love Legacy – Chapter 2

Welcome to Chapter 2 of the Love Legacy. I hope you enjoyed my first Chapter.

The Humour and Hijinks festival came to town that week and Poppy headed down in the hopes of meeting some new people and enjoying the atmosphere the festival brought.

The first thing she did was head over to one of the vendors and get herself some festival food. It was delicious. She then scouted out the area for any potential husbands.

There were not many and those she did see were already taken.

It was then that she saw the beaming face of Viktor Feng. She instantly liked him and headed over to chat.

They hit it off instantly. She found out that he was from the city and was recently divorced. She felt a connection to him that made her feel sure they were meant to be. She couldn’t stay late at the festival because she had work the next day, so rather reluctantly she said goodbye to Victor and headed home.

Poppy’s promotion meant that she was finally able to examine patients rather than just serve them food and mop the floors.

She was also allowed to use the fancy hospital equipment and she thoroughly enjoyed the scientific side to her job.

She got a big surprise when she entered one of the examination rooms and saw Victor sat on the bed.

“What are you doing here?” she exclaimed.

Victor looked just as shocked to see her, “I didn’t know you worked here.”

“I haven’t for long,” she admitted, “Are you ok?”

“Yeah, just llama flu,” Victor shrugged.

“Look,” said Victor, shooting Poppy a sly smile, “I don’t believe in accidents. I think we were meant to meet again. I’d love it if you would go on a date with me.”

Poppy blushed but quickly agreed to meet up with him on her days off.

And a few days later it happened.

The chemistry was instantly apparent and they enjoyed a night of flirting.

It didn’t take long for Victor to lean forward and give Poppy her first kiss.

Poppy was quick to reciprocate and kissed Victor back more fiercely. She knew he was the one.

Not wanting to waste any time together, Poppy was quick to make their love official and she asked Victor to move in, to which he happily agreed.

They made the most of their first night together.

A few days later Poppy felt some nausea and just for the heck of it decided to take a pregnancy test.

To her shock, the test came back positive. She couldn’t believe she was going to be a mother.

She hurried to find Victor and hurriedly told him the big news. To her great relief, he was ecstatic and then he did something even more shocking.

“I want us to be a proper family,” Victor said, getting down on one knee and producing a beautiful gold, diamond ring, “Will you do me the honour of becoming my wife?”

Poppy felt her heart swell as the ring was placed on her finger, “Of course I will!”

And their kiss sealed the promise.

The Love Legacy – Chapter 1

Hello, my name is Sarah and this is my third attempt at a legacy. I thought I was doing really well with my last one, the Bloom Legacy until I deleted all the screenshots of my laptop and didn’t know this majorly messed up my blogs!! But, no bitterness here, we will just start again 🙂 So welcome to the Love Legacy.

Let me introduce you to our founder, Poppy Love, isn’t she lovely! Her aspiration is to become a super parent, which seems fitting for a legacy sim. Her traits are neat, family orientated and creative. I love her!

This is the lot that Poppy lives on. I wanted to start her on the biggest lot I could find, but my laptop objected to this and wouldn’t run properly, so this is the biggest I could run and not want to scream at the screen.

This is her home, not bad for a legacy founder on the outside. Inside is another story altogether as it is basically empty. After building Poppy was left with no money at all.

Look at that ugly bed!! I hate it with a passion and ‘spoiler’ it haunts us for a long time to come!!! Anyway, the lack of funds meant that Poppy had to get off her bum and get herself a job. She decided to go for the Doctors career, as a family orientated career she is naturally caring and I though this trait would lend itself nicely to this field.

As her first shift didn’t start until the following day and her house was empty, apart from the ugly bed, Poppy headed down to the pool to kill some time and possibly find herself a man.

Ever the lady, Poppy straight away headed for the dive platform and bombed off the end.

Before relaxing into a casual swim.

After the swim, Poppy went on a manhunt.

The pickings were not exciting.

So, having failed to catch a man, Poppy decided to try and catch some fish instead.

She had no luck with fish, but caught was looked like a baby dementor instead.

After a long day of achieving nothing, Poppy headed home and jumped into the shower.

Before ruining her dinner by dropping the pepper on top of it. This really isn’t your day is it, Pops.

Admitting defeat on this unfortunate day, Poppy decided it was best to head to bed. She didn’t want to be tired for her first shift tomorrow.

In what felt like no time at all her first shift as a medical intern began. She was both nervous and excited upon seeing the towering hospital before her.

The first thing she did was introduce herself to the rest of her co-workers. Thankfully everyone she met was friendly and encouraging and she knew immediately that she would fit in here no problem.

The day was filled with mostly menial tasks such as mopping the floor, serving food and making beds.

But Poppy loved it and was proud of the work she did.

It didn’t take long for Poppy’s bosses to notice her bedside manner.

And she was rewarded with a promotion to the position of Orderly.
